General Summary:
Due to our continued growth, we have a newly created position in our Tampa Call Center for a talented Trainer to join our dynamic team. HealthPlanOne is currently seeking an individual to join our team and continue the development and growth of our Medicare and IFP Sales Teams in our St. Petersburg, FL Call Center. This leadership position reports to the VP, Sales and is responsible for effectively leading, developing and managing employees. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Directs the sales staff's efforts to ensure both compliance with CMS standards and that sales goals are met

Minimum Experience:

  • Previous supervisory experience managing remote employees
  • Solid knowledge and grasp of CMS rules and regulations

Opportunity:
The Company has a growing Medicare Coordinator business unit that delivers services to large employers that are converting their retiree medical benefits from a traditional group policy to a defined contribution model. We are expanding our business development team to drive the rapid growth of this business unit.

Position Posibilities:
Core responsibilities for this role are to: 1) drive the acquisition of new employer clients both, directly and through distribution partners, and 2) secure, and launch, distribution relationships with benefits consultants, brokers and TPAs. The Vice President, Business Development will report to the President, Employer Solutions.

Specific activities that support the above responsibilities include the following:

  • Develop a list of target firms for potential distribution relationships
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for engaging with the target firms and spearhead business development initiatives consistent with the company’s overall strategy
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to conceive and create the materials required to successfully engage with and convert the target firms to distribution partners
  • Work with cross-functional teams, both internal and at the distribution partner level, to execute all activities required to launch new distribution relationships

  • Build relationships by collaborating with senior executives to discuss business issues and distribution opportunities
