Top 10
  1. Do you like helping people?
    1. Is that part of my job?
    2. I am more of a dog person.
    3. I want to be part of providing solutions to people, business, and organizations that look to HealthPlanOne for help. Peace of mind is priceless, and I know I can contribute to this goal.
  2. Do you settle for mediocre customer satisfaction?
    1. Yes, when customers are really annoying.
    2. Often, enough is enough.
    3. I absolutely put customers first and foremost, not most of the time, but all of the time. Customer loyalty and word of mouth referrals are the only advertising that matters, and I’ll do my part to make this happen.
  3. Do you fear technology?
    1. I have dial-up internet and it works just fine.
    2. Health care company software is all just about the same.
    3. I don’t know it all, but I’m not afraid to explore who’s doing what and how, and see if it can work for us.
  4. Do you finish projects promptly, on time and on budget?
    1. Of course I do, each time and every time!
    2. With ample resources and a plethora of time, I can meet any and all deadlines.
    3. I prefer to reinvent, and reconnect the dots leading to wiser, better choices not previously considered. On time and on budget is good – this I know – but creative problem solving and considering the path less traveled often leads to great discovery.
  5. Do you suffer from not-my-job-itis?
    1. Yes. If it’s not in my job description, find someone else.
    2. Will I get paid extra?
    3. There’s no job too small for me, or too large either. I can help out wherever is necessary to make all engines hum.
  6. Can you have a good time?
    1. Is that a trick question?
    2. At work? Of course not, work is work.
    3. Work should be fun and productive. When employees enjoy work, we work as a team. Fun is smart, serious business that helps me become a better innovator, thinker, and employee.
  7. Are you smart and quick on your feet?
    1. Fantastically brilliant.
    2. Seriously above average.
    3. I don’t pretend to know everything, but I know enough to ask when I don’t have the answers. If I don’t know how to do something, I’ll find someone who does and exhaust all resources until I get the solution I need.
